Box Relay is a new product that Box and IBM are building together that will allow anyone to build their own custom workflows and automate repeatable processes. The goal is to give more ownership and visibility to business-users, reducing the time they currently spend coordinating/sharing, project managing rather than doing meaningful work. Key functionality includes the ability to:

• Build, Edit and Search Templates – Users can build the sequential steps in their process and assign both internal and external users to do specific actions. Set permissions, assign due dates and modify the workflow template at any time. For even quicker deployment, search saved templates within the company and reuse for your purposes.
• Complete Tasks – Those who are assigned actions will receive email notifications and see all outstanding and completed assignments in the Box Relay task inbox. Because the product will reside in Box, end users have the same collaboration experience to complete their work – preview
  assigned files, upload content, add comments, approve, reject and even reassign the task to another individual.
• Track and Monitor – Track the progress of each workflow in real-time, providing visibility and transparency into key business decisions, escalations, bottlenecks, actions on hold, etc
